声音与音乐计算(Sound and Music Computing, SMC)是一个多学科交叉的研究领域。在科学技术方面，涉及乐律(数学)、声学(物理)、音频信号处理、人工智能、计算机科学、电子工程、心理学、脑科学等学科;在音乐产业，涉及理论研究、创作、表演、教育、录音、音乐制作、音响工程、声音设计、声音装置、出版发行等;在其它行业，涉及互联网、医疗、汽车、机械、音响、海洋、生态、游戏、电影、安防等几乎一切国民经济领域。该学科在国外出现于1950年代，在国内出现于2000年左右。由于其典型的文理交叉学科特性，导致国内相关研究群体人数较少且高度分散，学术交流困难，直接制约了该学科的进一步发展。
为加快推进我国声音与音乐计算领域的学术与技术交流，探索无数尚未得到充分研究的新领域，促进产学研结合，尽快与世界水平接轨，第十一届全国声音与音乐技术会议(CSMT 2024)将于2024年10月11-13日(周五-周日)在中国地质大学(武汉)举行。具体信息参见微信公众号CSMC-CSMT，或会议网站 https://www.csmcw-csmt.org.cn。

Sound and Music Computing (SMC) is an interdisciplinary research field. In terms of science and technology, it involves various disciplines such as music theory (mathematics), acoustics (physics), audio signal processing, artificial intelligence, computer science, electronic engineering, psychology, and neuroscience. In the music industry, it covers theoretical research, composition, performance, education, recording, music production, sound engineering, sound design, sound installations, publishing, and distribution. In other industries, it is relevant to the internet, healthcare, automotive, machinery, acoustics, marine, ecology, gaming, film, security, and almost all sectors of the national economy. This field emerged in China around the year 2000. Due to its nature as a typical interdisciplinary field that combines arts and sciences, the number of researchers is relatively small and highly scattered, making academic exchange difficult and directly hindering the further development of the discipline.
To accelerate the academic and technical exchange in the field of sound and music computing in China, explore numerous new areas that have not been fully researched, promote the integration of industry, academia, and research, and quickly align with world standards, the 11th National Conference on Sound and Music Technology (CSMT 2024) will be held from October 11 to 13, 2024 (Friday to Sunday) at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). The conference is organized by the China Audio Industry Association (CAIA).
The conference is hosted by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and China Audio Industry Association Sound and Music Technology Committee (CAIA-SMT).
The conference is co-hosted by Shanghai Pudong New Area Advanced Audio and Video Technology Association, and Key Laboratory of Intelligent Processing Technology for Digital Music (Zhejiang Conservatory of Music), Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The conference is jointly supported by Beijing Acoustical Society, Shanghai Computer Society, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Society.

III. Conference Expense
The deadline for early-bird registration is September 31, 2024, and for normal registration October 10, 2024. The on-site registration starts from October 11, 2024.
Students attending the meeting pay a fixed fee of 400 yuan (RMB). Ordinary participants (non- students): 1300 yuan before 24:00 September 31; 1500 yuan before October 11, 2024; and 1700 yuan after October 11, 2024. After 0:00 October 9, it is no longer allowed to apply for refund of registration fee for any reasons. Participants should be responsible for transportation, board and lodging.

All registration fee invoices will be issued as fully electronic invoices and will be sent to the registered email address.
